In order to respect each other's time, we ask that you please make all efforts to confirm your appointment with us. If you need to cancel an appointment we ask that you provide a minimum 3 hours' notice. If we have not heard from you, we will give you a courtesy call.

Your first appointment allows time for your doctor to get to know you and your health concerns. You may be asked about a range of things depending on your history and needs. For example, you may be asked about your diet, stresses, illnesses (past and present), medications, supplements, emotions, spirituality, family, work and environment.

It is our job to give you the building blocks you need to heal, such as the nutrients, motivation, support, knowledge and guidance, but the rest is up to you. Please bring with you all of your recent investigations and any supplements you take. Also, we suggest writing a list of points you would like to discuss at the first appointment so we can work through them together. Depending on the complexities, we will try to address the most important issues first.

Holistic medicine is an attitudinal approach to health care rather than a particular set of techniques, with a particular focus on prevention and lifestyle interventions.

We look at the patient on the whole – their psychological, familial, societal, ethical, spiritual as well as biological dimensions of health and illness.

The holistic approach allows us to explore the uniqueness of each patient, improves the mutuality of the doctor-patient relationship & each person's responsibility for his or her own health care and society's responsibility for the promotion of health.

Whole Medicine is accepting bookings from new patients. New patients must call to make an appointment on 5986-4229.

A general practice related appointment runs for 30-minute, while a 40-minute consultation can be requested for a longer standing health issue. You can also book a family appointment, which includes 30-minutes for one parent and 15-minutes per child.

Returning patients can use our convenient booking system to book an appointment online or call the clinic on 5986-4229.
Whole Medicine doctors use conventional pathology, radiology labs and functional medicine labs for your medical test results.

To make sure your results are available and have been sent to your doctor, please follow up with the appropriate laboratory.

Communicating with your doctor without an appointment may be inappropriate in many situations. Please call the reception team on 03 5986 4229 to discuss your needs. If an appointment isn't needed the message will be passed onto the doctor and you will be asked to call back for an response. Unencryted emails are not secure, therefore we do not encourage email correspondence with our GP's.
We try really hard to offer you the best service we can and therefore we take your feedback seriously. You can give us feedback or make a complaint via email, in person, by phone or written correspondence. Please address all feedback to Office Manager. We will endeavour to make contact with you within 48 hours of receiving this feedback.
No our doctors are not naturopaths, they are western medical trained general practitioners. They have completed their medical degrees, in hospital training and specialised in general practice and they all hold a fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General practitioners.
All our appointments are time based. We believe good medicine takes time, and therefore we offer our patients the opportunity to book for extended timed appointments.  We also acknowledge that at times, you just want to see a doctor for a short or quick appointment. We have provided for that too. The short appointments are priced in line with what you may be used to at other clinics.  The first appointment is designed to allow the doctor and the patient to get to know each other and make sure we are addressing all your health care needs for the short and the long term.  For more information see Whole Medicine GP Costs.
We keep some appointments aside for on the day bookings. We try to do our best to accommodate you for this. Please call us in the morning when you need on 5986 4229. These appointments are not always shown online as a way on controlling the booking process as they are sometimes in high demand.

When you are a regular patient with us, the wait times to see a doctor may be reduced.

New patients require a long consult and, therefore, there may be a wait for the initial consultation.
