Dr Mugdha Wakodkar - Arriving Soon

Whole Medicine is excited to announce the upcoming arrival of Dr Mugdha Wakodkar, starting in September 2026.

Dr Wakodkar is a dual-certified doctor with over 15 years of experience in the UK health system, being both a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She has also gained additional clinical and research experience worldwide, including at Mount Sinai Hospital (consistently ranked among the USA's leading institutions) and in Bangalore, India.

Dr Wakodkar provides comprehensive general practice care for patients of all ages, managing acute and chronic illnesses, skin conditions, and palliative (end of life) care. Supported by her strong professional background in gynaecology, she has a particular interest in women's health, including:

• Pregnancy - Comprehensive pre-conceptual, antenatal, and postnatal care.
• Gynaecology - Investigating and managing pelvic pain, irregular periods, fertility issues, and PCOS.
• Hormone Management - Expert counselling on contraception and Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) for menopause.
• Urogynaecology - Assessing and managing urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse including pessary insertion and vulval skin conditions.

Additionally, her strong surgical background also enables her to offer joint injections, as well as perform skin surgery.

In her free time, Dr. Wakodkar enjoys skiing, cooking, travelling and continues to pursue her childhood hobby of stamp collecting.
