Welcome - Dr Dario Rydel

Dr Rydel initially started his career as a doctor in Manchester, UK, originally starting in Emergency Medicine before training as a GP. He is also a keen medical educator, having held various roles including at the Universities of Manchester and Liverpool and the UK’s medical regulator.

He enjoys all aspects of General Practice but has particular interests in:

• Chronic disease management and preventative medicine
• Acute and urgent care
• Skin Health
• Women’s health, including menopause and perimenopause
• Men’s health

Dr Rydel also provides comprehensive sexual health care including STI screening and confidential sexual health advice. He is committed to inclusive care for LGBTQIA+ patients and offers gender-affirming healthcare and support for TGD individuals. He is a proud member of AusPATH.

Outside of work, he enjoys learning to play the piano, the outdoors, travelling and values time with his family, friends and dog.
