Dr Cooper has been long associated with Whole medicine and has been practicing on and off with us for the last 7 years. Dr Cooper is currently away on a sabbatical, due to return to her practice in November 2019.
Dr Cooper initially trained at Cambridge University, UK, graduating in 2003 and then completed specialist GP training in a rural area of the West of England in 2008, where she worked for three years before venturing to the city.
She is an experienced integrative GP, who joined the Whole Medicine team in 2012 with the vision of expanding her knowledge of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine. She is now thoroughly entrenched in integrative mediicne and loves having the scope to be able to work in a holistic way with patients. She is passionate about preventative medicine and trying to find a natural way, where possible, to aim for wellness and wholeness.
She also has had training in NLP and hypnotherapy and is a member of RACGP and ACNEM. She also has an interest in mindfulness and meditation.
She will return to her practice in December 2019 and will be available for consultation over the summer months. She encourages her patients to optimise her health and to continue to be looked after by her friends and colleagues at Whole Medicine while she is away.
