Dr Kelly-Anne Garnier
General Medical Practitioner

Dr Kelly-Anne Garnier is new to Whole Medicine having joined us in October this year.

Dr Garnier graduated from her studies in Post-Graduate Medicine and Surgery at Deakin University in Geelong in 2014 before heading up to Queensland to complete her specialist training in General Practice.

Dr Garnier is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practice and is currently completing a further Fellowship in Lifestyle Medicine.  Whilst she enjoys all aspects of General Practice, she particularly enjoys Mental Health.  Her counselling approach includes CBT, positive psychology themes, using mindfulness and meditation.

Dr Garnier believes in evidence-based medicine with a strong preventative and holistic focus.  She is passionate about how our lifestyle can prevent, treat and reverse chronic disease and aims to help her patients optimise their health in this manner both mentally and physically.

Dr Garnier is also a regular guest presenter on Good Health Radio aiming to raise awareness of how wellbeing can be fostered at the General Practice level.

When she is not working, Dr Garnier is daydreaming about walking her next Camino, making a wonderful culinary mess in her kitchen or spending time unwinding in nature.
